The Extreme H2O® lens is a molded spherical lens for daily wear. The lens cost to the practitioner allows modalities of wear for the patient from 2 weeks to 30 days. The choice of wear modality is left to the eye care professional and the patient to decide. The Extreme H2O® lens should be less expensive per hour of comfortable wear because it can be worn longer with greater comfort. The Extreme H2O® lens is an effective replacement for any 2-week or 30 day modality if the patient is experiencing end of the day discomfort.

The Extreme H2O® lens is the lens of choice for any patient wishing to improve his/her end of the day comfort. The "5 o'clock syndrome" of lens awareness and discomfort is usually eliminated with the use of the Extreme H2O® lens.

The Extreme H2O® lens is made of hioxifilcon A (co-polymer GMA-HEMA) which retains its saturated water content on the eye, even under extreme conditions. All lens dimensions and oxygen permeability present in the first hour of wear will be present in the last hour of wear. This means lens movement and fit will be stable from the beginning of the day to bedtime.
