"Tab in one" peroxide system offers a simple and efficient care of the contact lenses in one step for the wearer. The goal of a spontaneously good and continuous compatibility is pursued, in this care system with its preservative free and a film with similar composition of the tear film after the end of the disinfection process.

Which are the components of the system peroxide "tab in one" and how this functions?
The peroxide care system "tab in one" consists of 3 components: - that 3% hydrogen-peroxide-solution "tab in one", a stabilisation tablet with green organic-indicator and a specially conceived Contact lenses container with exhaust valve.
The stabilisation tablet is not coated in order to release the catalyser slowly and continuously. Step by step it the enzyme is delivered to neutralise the hydrogen peroxide. This process expires when the 3% hydrogen peroxide is dismantled, after 2 hours the solution is only a saline solution isotonic, compatible with the tear film.
Pure peroxide and the catalyser have unstable oxygen-atoms which remove the organic deposits through oxidation.
During the neutralisation process, the contact lenses are disinfected and are freed of contaminating micro organisms, proteins, fats and deposits that build during the day of wear. The catalyser is very stable in regard to pH variation. A minimum of concentration is effective which minimized a possible intolerance during the contact lens wear.
The greenish colour of the solution, obtained by means of organic-indicator, signals the termination of neutralisation.
